SMS / Text Messaging Policy

This SMS Policy ("Policy") describes how AugMint ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") uses SMS (Short Message Service) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) text messaging to communicate with you. By opting in to our text message program, you agree to the terms described below.

AugMint uses SMS text messaging to communicate with customers and prospective clients. Messages may include:

• Responses to your inquiries and requests for information
• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Service updates and project status notifications
• Follow-up communications related to your expressed interest
• Newsletter content, AI tips, and company updates
• Promotional offers and announcements (only with your express written consent)

3. Consent / How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from AugMint through the following methods:

• Web Form Opt-In: Providing your mobile phone number on our website at augmint.dev/contact or our newsletter sign-up form and checking the SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox language reads:
  
  "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages from AugMint at the mobile number provided, including newsletters, company updates, AI tips, and promotional messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies; approximately 4–10 msgs/month. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes."
• Keyword Opt-In: Texting a designated keyword (e.g., "START," "INFO," or "JOIN") to our business phone number.
• Verbal / In-Person Consent: Providing verbal consent during a phone consultation or in-person meeting, which will be documented by our team. Note: Verbal opt-in is not sufficient for marketing messages; written consent via web form or text keyword is required for promotional content.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you consent to receive automated SMS messages from AugMint at that number.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase of goods or services from AugMint.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the nature of your subscription and your interactions with AugMint. Typically, you may receive approximately 4 to 10 messages per month. You may receive more or fewer messages depending on whether you are actively engaged in a project, consultation, or event.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for SMS and MMS messages will apply based on your mobile phone plan. AugMint is not responsible for any messaging or data charges imposed by your wireless carrier. Please contact your carrier for details about your specific plan.

6. How to Opt Out / Stop Messages

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from AugMint at any time by using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP: Text the word STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from AugMint SMS. No more messages will be sent. Reply START to re-subscribe or contact get@augmint.dev for help." No further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.
• Email: Send an opt-out request to get@augmint.dev with your phone number and a request to unsubscribe from SMS.
• Phone: Call (786) 737-0338 to request removal from our messaging list.

After opting out, you may continue to receive non-marketing transactional messages related to any active service agreements, as permitted by law.

8. Privacy and Data Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

• Data Collection: We collect your mobile phone number, name, and opt-in consent status when you enroll in our SMS program.
• Data Usage: Your phone number is used solely for the purposes of sending you the messages described in this Policy.
• No Selling or Sharing: We will never sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer your phone number, opt-in data, or consent information to any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes at any time. This includes affiliates, partners, and lead aggregators.
• Service Providers: We may share your mobile number with SMS platform providers (e.g., Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf. These providers are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and may not use it for any other purpose.
• Data Security: Your data is stored securely with appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Access is limited to authorized personnel only.
• Data Retention: We retain your SMS opt-in data while you are subscribed. If you opt out, we will remove your mobile number from our active messaging lists within 30 days.

9. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by all major US wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and other regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Disclaimer

AugMint and mobile carriers are not responsible for any delays or failures in the delivery of text messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
